A very good morning I bid to the respected Judges, Madam Time-keeper, fellow debaters, and audience.
Hua hua hua. I remember those times when I debated in high-school. It was fun. But every time before the debate was going to start, I'd get a stomachache. Like a real, have-to-go-to-toilet-for-some-business kinda stomachache. Haih. And every time I play hide-and-seek, I'd feel like peeing whenever I'm hiding.
Err. Ok. Just saying.
Please refer to picture. That was my Saturday morning breakfast. Oh yeah man. Looks good ey? Tasted even bettah! Hehehe. So this is what you call Baked Eggs with Onions and Cabbage. It's supposed to be with green onion (?) and spinach. But Wonder Woman has the Power of Modification. And so she used what she had in her trusty fridge (which isn't hers anyway, it's the landlord's). The trusty fridge revealed some cabbage. I don't know how long it's been in the fridge. But cabbage do last very long huh? Simply miraculous I tell you.
I got this recipe from taste.com.au. The original recipe was of course a bit more complicasiong and had more delicious stuff like cheese and cream added to it. But
Cabbage
Onion
Egg
Pepper and Salt
Butter
Herbs
Onion
Egg
Pepper and Salt
Butter
Herbs
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celcius. Saute onions and cabbage (cut into small pieces) with butter in a pan until onion is just soft. Grease ramekin with butter and place onions and cabbage. Season with salt and pepper (I used Ajishio pepper so I did not use salt). If you have herbs, sprinkle some in. In the recipe, this is also where you put the cheese. Crack an egg over the cabbage and onion. In the recipe, thin cream is poured over the egg (but not over the yolk).
Place ramekin in an oven proof dish. Fill the dish with boiling water so that the water comes to about half-way up the ramekin. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until you see that the egg has turned white and the yolk has set. Adjust length of baking according to preferred state of cooked egg. While waiting for eggs to cook, toast some bread, butter 'em and cut into fingers or toes or whatever. Once cooked, eat with toast. D'oh. Tada! As easy as 1-2-3 and A-B-C and alif-ba-ta- and I'-er-san and ni'-duo-taruh- and siji-loro-telu and... ok dah habis.
